Just finished listening to @HugoPhilion on the latest DROPS episode, and it honestly gave me a whole new perspective on what @FlareNetworks is trying to build.
Hugo’s story hits different walking away from traditional finance to build something that actually fixes the system instead of just profiting from it.
His vision for Flare isn’t about hype; it’s about unlocking real value in assets like XRP and eventually Bitcoin by turning idle liquidity into something productive and secure.
What stood out most to me is how Flare positions itself as a “hub chain,” connecting different ecosystems the way London once connected global finance. Starting with XRP makes sense too huge community, fast tech, and so much untapped potential.
At the core, it’s about giving people back agency over their money in a world where fiat keeps losing credibility.
The way Hugo talks about crypto not as a gamble, but as a defense against broken systems really sums up why many of us got into Web3 in the first place.
Flare might just be building the rails for a more transparent, data driven, and user-friendly DeFi future.
