The only thing anyone cares about is in this whole $FET saga @BrucePon @trentmc0 @HMsheikh4 is;
did the Ocean DAO sell its community tokens, if so, how much and when? And how much of its treasury is left, in what denomination? That’s it.
It’s easy to prove / disprove.. $OCEAN
I invested in both Ocean, Fetch and CUDOS as a pre-seed / friends & family investor
I’ve known all founders personally for several years. No one on the planet knows all the characters involved combined, in the way I do. No one.
I held tokens in all networks independently, and converted them all into $Fetch at the merger.
I hold no equity stakes in any of the projects outside of the unified Fetch holding.
In short, no one is more invested but also more neutral than me on these unfortunate events.
I am squarely and 100% aligned with the community and establishing the facts surrounding the current situation, but more importantly finding a solution.
If I appear to have a bias towards one counterparty vs another it’s based on who has been open to engage with me as an investor in this process alone.
@trentmc0 after many years of what I would regard as a partnership, even friendship, in not just Ocean but also the Token Engineering community has refused any form of comms with me.. which is unusual given our relationship and @BrucePon nothing but a basic DM on X without any further detail as to my private requests nor my proposal to broker a solution before this blew up like it has.
@HMsheikh4 on the other hand has been in communication near daily.
So as a professional investor in the space for over a decade, making over 400 investments, combined with my personal relationships with all the characters involved feel confident I am best qualified to determine where I want to direct my attention for clarifying information.
I doubt any investor in any of the tokens pre or post merger have been MORE effected then me and my firm.
This has cost us tens of millions of $ but more than that by association has hurt the reputation of Outlier the firm I founded.
Until I am able to personally audit the claims by Ocean with my team on analysts it is my duty to my shareholders and the community to continue asking questions..
I’m not sorry that this inconvenient to day traders trying to arb this situation.
This is really simple.
As an institutional investor;
I am willing to audit Oceans wallets privately or publicly to HELP them establish the claim that there were no material sales of FET.
It would take a matter of days to clear this up.
Assuming the DAO has its community treasury (which I currently do until I see evidence to the contrary)…
I am prepared to help negotiate an orderly demerger so both $OCEAN and $FET can thrive.
And both can remove this overhang and any assumed liabilities so everyone can get back to building the important mission of an alternative to Sam Altmans AI dystopia.
@BrucePon @trentmc0 @HMsheikh4 @bengoertzel I am at your service.
