While BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes is calling for a 24x jump for $FIL in the AI meta, I personally believe @0G_labs has a better chance of ultimately surpassing its market cap. But here’s the crucial point I think he’s missing. The very nature of AI is that it needs to process huge amounts of data in real-time to make instant decisions that’s inference. For that, you need incredibly fast data retrieval and modification speeds. Filecoin is great for data storage and integrity, but its query speeds are notoriously slow. And while it's impressive that Filecoin is storing a massive 23 EiB of data, that number doesn't translate to real-world usage because its practical utility is just too low. That's why a protocol like 0G is actually a much better fit for the core AI infrastructure Hayes is talking about because it offers both storage and compute. The bottom line is this: storage protocols that used to focus only on data preservation now have to be fast. Speed is no longer optional....
