#Enjin Announces “Sentosa” Blockchain Upgrade!
@Enjin Blockchain is preparing for launch of its “Sentosa” upgrade, designed to boost efficiency, automation, and interoperability across the network.
The Sentosa upgrade has rolled out to the Canary Testnet, with Mainnet deployment scheduled for December 8, 2025 across both the Relaychain and Matrixchain.
This major update introduces several key advancements:
• Coretime integration on Relaychain: optimizing resource allocation and performance.
• Hyperbridge and Asset Conversion (DEX) pallets: enabling seamless asset swaps and cross-chain functionality.
• Off-chain workers: automating validator payouts and marketplace maintenance.
• Governance improvements: simplifying pool management, reducing destruction time from 56 to 28 days, and adding fair auction bid extensions.
Additionally, the update removes outdated features like the nomination pool bonus cycle, ensuring a more transparent and efficient staking experience. Developers will also benefit from the latest tech stack upgrades, including Rust 1.84.1 and the Polkadot SDK stable2506.
