key takeaway from my first complexcon is that no one is “best dressed in web3”
fashion in web3 has a lot of learning to do. ive been somewhat critical of this year’s bayc merch drop bc (a) no ladies collection and (b) selfishly no textiles or iconic prints for me to cut up and modify
however, the ape partnerships with fashion & lifestyle industry giants and making noise at complexcon is a big step in raising the bar for all of the onchain brands focused around visual elements that help create identity and lore for their communities, users, and fans
it’s a “study this” moment for creators to elevate their looks and for the culture driving brands to set trends, merge style + tech, and make a statement
