We hosted the first @eigencloud meetup in Korea with an incredible group of builders, researchers, and VCs. I had the chance to moderate a panel with @xparadigms from @FourPillarsKR and @RTigerrese41020 from @tiger_research on the theme “Back to the Basics.” In crypto, verification is the core value—yet the market often forgets this and focuses solely on “making money.” We wanted to rewind and revisit the fundamentals: - Why are we here? - Why is crypto valuable? - What should we be building? Questions that aren’t talked about enough anymore. My favorite part of the meetup was seeing everyone break into real discussions afterward—sharing perspectives, challenging assumptions, and exploring these questions together. That’s exactly what I hoped this event would create. We need more of this. Kudos to @nonceclassic for co-hosting the meetup!
